Provide fixed equipment design and support for the three autoclave units at Sabine River Works.


Provide fixed equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks) and piping technical support for high pressure autoclaves.

  • Support the unit technical resources as needed to solve complex fixed equipment problems.
  • Provide fixed equipment designs to support project activities (uprating existing equipment, new designs, etc)
  • Perform Fitness for Service analysis / calculations for pressure vessels and piping and document results.
  • Actively engage with proactive site reliability improvement efforts.
  • Participate in RCFA activities as the need arises.
  • Prepare small capital project management of change documentation.
  • Act as lead technical resource and author equipment specifications for large capital projects.


    Guidance will be provided based upon unit needs from area management as well as project work. Interactions with unit support team and within the technical group will be required to ensure alignment of efforts.

  • Requirements
    Familiarity with relevant codes including ASME Sect VIII, API 510, 570, 653, 579 (FFS), 580/581 (RBI), B31.3


    Experience with Finite Element Analysis (Algor), Caesar II Pipe Stress Analysis, and Grayloc connectors is a plus.


    Green or Black Belt Certification preferred.
