Job Description

A postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Northwestern University for conducting research at the intersection of micro scale fluid mechanics, computational mathematics and biology. The candidate should have a doctoral degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Bio Engineering, Physics, Applied or Computational Mathematics or an allied field. The ideal candidate is expected to have good command of computational methods. Experience with numerical simulation of the Brownian dynamics of polymers and suspensions or closely related research experience is strongly desired. The position is available immediately, is renewable on an annual basis and is anticipated for at least two years. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position is open until it is filled.
